Barcelona went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in the hope of receiving almost half a million euros for Malcom, but that option has been scuppered. The CAS ruled in favour of Zenit St Petersburg, who will not have to pay the 490,000 euros claimed by the Catalans over a Champions League dispute following UEFA's veto of Russian clubs.
