Barcelona congratulate Madrid on 15th Champions League title

Real Madrid received congratulations from a large part of the football world after winning their 15th Champions League title. Among the various congratulations, the one from their eternal rivals Barcelona stood out. The Catalan side's post on social media generated numerous comments.

La Liga champions Real Madrid held off Borussia Dortmund and then struck twice through Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior to secure a 2-0 victory. The Champions League trophy won at Wembley on Saturday was Los Blancos' 15th title. As a result, they received countless congratulations from clubs and football professionals alike.

Among all of them, the one that generated the most morbidity was undoubtedly that of Barcelona. The Madrid side's eternal rivals congratulated them on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, with a brief message.

"Congratulations to Real Madrid for winning the Champions League title," they wrote. The giant Catalans' post was full of comments from their own fans and Real Madrid supporters.

Madrid fans were equal parts grateful and derisive for the gesture, while supporters of the Catalan team were mostly indignant, not approving of their club congratulating their sporting foes.
