Barcelona branded 'ugly' and disrespectful

In a shock result, minnows Leganes beat the La Liga favourites at the 12,450 capacity Estadio Municipal de Butarque, on a night where Barcelona failed to take advantage of Real Madrid also losing (3-0 away at Sevilla). 

Phillipe Coutinho even gave them the lead, but goals from Nabil El Zhar and Oscar Rodriguez Arnaiz saw the team from the greater Madrid area triumph.

However after the Barcelona players failed to congratulate the victors, Cuellar was left unhappy and is reported by 'Marca' to have said: 

''When one loses, there's a need to congratulate the other team, something which the players didn't do.

''Nobody came over to congratulate us.

''Not one of us was congratulated.

''I think that is a quite ugly thing.''

Barcelona had rotated the side to play the unfancied Leganes and although superstars such as Lionel Messi, the aforementioned Coutinho and Gerard Pique were present fringe players such as Munir and Thomas Vermaelen were unable to secure the team the result they wanted.
