Barca reveal squad to face Malaga in La Liga

Everything is going well for FC Barcelona in La Liga. Under threat of Atletico catching them, 'Barca' cut short any suspense by beating the 'Colchoneros' in a league six pointer. Now, the team will be heading to the Rosaleda Stadium in calm spirits.

For the Malaga clash, Ernesto Valverde has announced his 18-player squad, among whom Andres Iniesta does not feature following a hamstring injury. He will be replaced by Aleix Vidal, new to the team.

The Catalan club has also announced the last-minute withdrawal of Lionel Messi, after the birth of his third child. Yerry Mina, initially discarded in a technical decision by the Spanish manager, will be called up in the Argentine's place. Denis Suarez and Nelson Semedo will also be absent.
