Barca reject offer of eight million euros for Ilaix

Ilaix Moriba's future looks to be getting further and further away from Barcelona. Despite intentions from both parties to reach some form of agreement, the reality is that they have never been in consensus, meaning it now looks unlikely to be resolved.

In fact, the Catalan club have put a price tag of 15 million euros on the player. Whichever club that arrives with that amount of money will land the promising player of Barca's La Masia academy.

But that's the amount they want, and not anything less. According to 'Sport', the club run by Joan Laporta have rejected an offer of eight million euros from RB Leipzig. 

Thus, Barca's intention is to find Ilaix a new home before the transfer window closes on 31st August, given that it looks almost certain that he won't renew. If not, the player's only other option will be the unwelcome one of spending an entire season on the bench.
