Barca ready to offer Balde for Tagliafico

Barcelona want Tagliafico and Tagliafico wants to play for Barcelona. According to the newspaper 'AS', he has already told his agent, Ricardo Schlieper, who will have to talk to Ajax about the fact that they are willing to part with their young starlet Alex Balde in order to make the Argentine's arrival cheaper.

The parties have not yet worked out how to close the deal. A loan deal would be the least damaging for the Ciudad Condal's coffers, although it might be better to keep him on loan in order to increase the value of their squad. Also, with an eye on the future, it would be the most strategic move.

A loan with an option to buy could satisfy both clubs, as the Barcelona side would not have to pay for him immediately and would have a six-month window to see his development under Xavi Hernandez before deciding whether to invest a lot of money in him. The Dutch, however, would be left to wait, a wait they might not like very much.

The third option is a standard transfer. Alex Balde could enter the equation, although Barcelona's idea is not that he would leave on a permanent basis, but rather on loan. Joan Laporta's board understands that the quality he would bring to Ajax could help Tagliafico to arrive in Barcelona on lighter financial terms.
