Barca open the door for Eric Garcia to leave

The Barcelona rebuild project has already started ahead of next season. The main target was to bring back Leo Messi, which ultimately did not end up being possible due to the financial acrobatics that would have been required.

However, the management are still all hands on deck to bring on new talent for next season. But in order to bring new players on board, first they have to let some leave, to help their somewhat struggling bank account.

Xavi has already reportedly spoken with various players who don't make the cut. According to 'Sport', Eric Garcia is one of them, and the club have already given him the green light to find a new club.

The manager feels the defense is well-stocked and Garcia won't see many minutes on the pitch. Araujo and Christensen are fixed starters, while a right-back is being sought to replace Kounde in the center of the defense, and the club is waiting on the arrival of Inigo Martinez, who could be made official in the coming weeks.
