Barca close to renewing Carles Perez's contract

La Masia is stuffed with young talent at Barca. The striker has come through that academy and has managed to get himself a place in the coach's plans. Soon he will have to have his contract modified to be more like La Liga player. 

For now, he is showing the required level when the coach gives him an opportunity. In the five league games he has played, he has scored one goal and given two assists. The passes were key in getting a draw against Osasuna at El Sadar when they most needed it. 

Therefore his contract is going to be renewed. That is what 'Mundo Deportivo' is reporting. They say that the agreement will be officially reached on Friday. In this way, special attention will have to be paid to Barca's media channels in the coming days. 

The previously mentioned source adds that the club's intention is for his contract to be extended until 2022 and for his buyout clause to be set at 100 million euros. That would try to disuade other clubs from going after to him.
