It was a slow start from Barcelona as they struggled to break down Granada in the opening twenty minutes. After that, Suarez and Neymar began to combine, creating chances for the visitors.
Suarez enjoyed some clear chances, but Granada keeper Ochoa pulled off good saves to deny the Uruguayan.
Granada were nowhere to be seen, and Barcelona managed to take the lead through the most unexpected of ways. Jordi Alba's long ball set up Suarez against Ochoa once again. This time the striker finished well, side-footing the ball over the Mexican.
It was a better beginning to the second half. Boga scored for the home side barely five minutes after coming on, with a good finish which went in off the post.
Alarm bells were ringing for Barcelona until an unlikely man stepped up. Paco Alcacer scored what is arguably his most important goal for the team after a great pass from Suarez, and a composed finish.
Uche Agbo was shown a second yellow card, and almost immediately after going down to ten men, Granada conceded a third goal. Rakitic's effort went in through a deflection off Saunier.
Granada capitulated as Neymar began to shine, grabbing his 100th Barcelona goal to make it four for Enrique's side.
With this victory, the Catalans reduce the gap with leaders Real Madrid to two points.
