Barca aware of Man City's transfer fee for Cancelo

Joao Cancelo has found his place at Barcelona and does not want to leave. The Catalan club are delighted with his performance and are already considering an offer to convince Manchester City to sign him permanently.

If he fails to convince the English side, he would have to return to England this summer, although the player does not seem to be very keen, as a few days ago he accused Manchester City of having been "ungrateful" to him.

The Catalan club, according to 'Relevo', are planning to make City a formal offer of 30 million euros. However, it would not be enough to meet the English club's expectations.

Manchester City are looking to make at least 40 to 50 million euros from Cancelo's transfer. At the time, he arrived for 65 million euros and they intend to amortise a good part of what they invested in the Portuguese.

City believe Cancelo has a good reputation in the Premier League and are confident that, if not Barca, another club can pay them the figure they want. The player has shown this season that he has plenty of talent and can bring a lot to the table. 

For the moment, Barca have not contacted the Etihad Stadium to discuss Joao Cancelo's future. The Catalan club are aware that, in order to make any offer, they must first comply with Financial Fair Play. Once the accounts have been settled, the institution will be able to draw up the formula to get the Portuguese.
