As reported by 'RAC 1' and 'Marca', Barcelona and Valencia are close to sealing a swap deal that would see Jasper Cillessen move to Mestalla, with Neto moving the other way to Camp Nou.
The Spanish press are also reporting that the deal would have to be completed before the end of this month for it to count in this financial year.
Valencia need to bring in 30 million Euros before 30th June to comply with FFP, whilst Barcelona themselves need between 60 and 70 million Euros to avoid any potential wrongdoing.
The Dutch goalkeeper stated his desire to leave a while ago, but the decision of the Brazilian has surprised many in Valencia, who don't understand his willingness to give up his starting role to play second fiddle to Ter Stegen at Camp Nou.
Cillessen will arrive at Mestalla to be the starting keeper, whereas Neto, who not long ago left Juventus in search of regular gametime, will live in the German's shadow at Barcelona, and will likely only start in the Copa del Rey.
