After a few early chances early on in the tie, Gareth Bale stepped up to show his team-mates how it's done.
The Welshman dummied a quick free-kick and then used his strength to grapple with the Villarreal centre-back and win the ball. In one swift movement, Bale then spun on the spot, using his momentum to a right-footed strike into the bottom left corner.
Unfortunately for the 'Yellows,' goalkeeper Andres Fernandez couldn't get down quick enough and the ball struck the back of the net, making it 1-0 to Real Madrid.
Adding that goal to Bale's impressive brace against Celta Vigo gives the Madrid No. 11 a tally of three goals in two games and puts him in frightening form going into the Champions League final.
