Bakambu is once again strongly linked with Barca

Despite the fact the crowd at the Camp Nou had to wait a long time to see his debut because of an injury, Sergio Aguero's return to the field of play had excited Barcelona fans as they knew the team needed a main man up front and goals in attack. 

The Argentine, who scored in 'El Clasico', was getting more and more important until he had to be replaced against Alaves for an unknown reason. In the end, that turned out to be arritmia. 

That means the former Man City man will be out for several months. Therefore, the board will look in January for a reinforcement in attack. Players like Cavani, Lacazette and Adeyemi have been linked in recent hours as possible reinforcements, but it seems like now there is a new player on their liast. 

According to 'AS', Barcelona have got Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu and he is well known in Spain for his successful time in Villarreal. 

The Congolese attacker had been on Barcelona's agenda in the last two season and he even went on a plane to Barcelona to complete a signing which never ended up being completed. Now, they could be third time lucky and everything makes him one of the favourites to arrive at the Camp Nou. 

As well as the fact he already knows La Liga, Bakambu sees his current contract end on 31st December 2021 so he would join Barca for nothing,something vital for Barca because of their delicate situation on a financial level.
