Bayern Munich are going hard for Noussair Mazraoui, one of the right backs on Barca's agenda. The German side are not wasting time and they have put in "a super offer to the Dutch club to try and persuade the player to join them. It is the second in a few weeks. Previously, there was an offer of 10 million per season, better than Barca's offer.
The defender, whose contract expires in June, and delegation of the German club, have reportedly met in Amsterdam to negotiate his signing, 'Sky' reveals. The Dutch arm of Sky says that Bayern have put in "a very good offer" so that Mazraoui can move to Munich. It is better than the previous offer and his inner circle have reportedly sent the offers to Oliver Kahn.
Barca remain interested and they are continuing to work on that although they know that they face stiff competition in Bayern Munich. They are not the only clubs. AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are also moving to get hold of the player. In the case of the German club, what they could get by selling Haaland could be used to pay Mazraoui's salary.
Jordi Cruyff spied on the Moroccan international in Ajax's 0-1 loss to Benfica in the Champions League. He was also able to see Nicolas Tagliafico and Alejandro Grimaldo, two candidates for the left-back role, in action. At the end of that game, Mazraoui said that nothing had been close to being confirmed.
