Azpilicueta scrambled home to put Chelsea ahead

With the 'Hammers' struggling at the wrong end of the table and Chelsea in desperate need of points to end the season strongly as Antonio Conte demanded from his side earlier this week it always looked like being an intruiging affair in the capital.

When the breakthrough came though it was certainly nothing special.

With 36 minutes gone, Victor Moses swung in a cross from out on the right and Alvaro Morata was able to head it down into the path of his compatriot.

Azpilicueta snuck in between two claret and blue shirts to take a touch before stabbing past a helpless Joe Hart in the visiting goal.
