Ayoze Perez could be Isak's replacement at Sociedad

Alexander Isak's time as a Real Sociedad is now history. The Basque club accepted Newcastle's enticing offer and he became the club's most expensive sale by a distance. 

Now this deal has been done, the aim is to find a striker who is capable of replacing the hole the Swede has left. It will not be easy since his influence in attack was crucial. 

"The club are prepared, the recruitment department know what the situation of the market is, we have to also see what is our salary cap in order to sign players and how we go about next week. There will one or more signings depending on, structurally, how convinced we are that the solutions we bring will contrivute to the future of Real," Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay. 

One of the latest names to be mentioned is that of Ayoze Perez. The Spanish forward is not getting opportunities at Leicester and he would reportedly be happy to return to Spain. 

The fact his contract at the Foxes expires in 2023 could facilitate the move. The cited media outlet has not spoke about amounts, although this would not be a problem for a Real Sociedad whose financial situation has rarely been so healthy in their history.
