Augustinsson's first international goal propelled Sweden to the knockouts

Sweden went into their final group match against Mexico level on points with Germany, who were taking on South Korea in the other fixture.

The European side had to better Germany's result to book their place in the Round of 16 and they gave themselves a great chance in the 50th minute.

Augustinsson charged up field to meet a Viktor Claesson cross, volleying home from a tight angle to give Sweden a 1-0 lead.

With Germany currently held to a 0-0 stalemate against South Korea at the same point, the goal meant Sweden moved into first position, ahead of Mexico, with 40 minutes left.
