Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad to fight for Deiver Machado

It has been a busy January transfer window for Atletico Madrid as Joao Felix and Cunha have left while Memphis Depay has come in and they are not finished yet. 

According to 'AS', Atletico Madrid are keeping a close eye on Deiver Machado, a Lens left-back whose contract expires in June 2024. Diego Simeone is reportedly looking for an alternative in the left-back position. 

However, the cited source says that Real Sociedad are also after the Colombian. It is for that reason that both clubs will fight to get him to move from France to Spain. 

Up to now, the former Atletico Nacional and Millionarios player has made 17 appearances this season, 15 of them as a starter. He has scored a goal and provided an assist.
