The Napoli left-back is being tracked by the Premier League side, but the Rojiblancos have added him to their list of targets ahead of the January transfer window.

Atletico Madrid are ready to challenge Chelsea to the signing of Faouzi Ghoulam, Calciomercato reports.

Chelsea have reportedly been tracking the 25-year-old, but Atletico sent their director of sport to scout him in Friday's game against Inter.

However, the Napoli left-back is currently in talks with the Serie A side over a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2018, and is expected to reach an agreement.
