Athletic secure Alvaro Djalo's services

SC Braga forward Alvaro Djalo was a desired signing for Athletic Club. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, this desire is now a reality. The Basque side have signed the winger for next season.

The Spanish side have reached an agreement with the player and have already signed the relevant documents with the Portuguese side to be able to count on Djalo from 1 July. The transfer could be made official within a week.

The amount that Athletic would pay Sporting Braga would be 15 million euros fixed plus another five million euros in variables. It should be remembered that his market value, according to BeSoccer data, is 3.9 million euros.

Alvaro Djalo also has the nationality of Guinea-Bissau. He is eligible to play for Athletic as he spent ten years living in the Basque Country. In fact, he was rejected by Athletic at the time and ended up joining the youth academy of SC Braga.
