Arsenal to sign youngster Bramall from Hednesford

Arsenal are to complete the signing of 20-year-old Hednesford defender Cohen Bramall on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Cohen Bramall is to become an Arsenal player in the space of the next 48 hours, Sky Sports has reported. The young Hednesford left-back underwent a trial with the Gunners right before Christmas and has just passed a medical examination in North London.

Arsenal are expected to pay Hednesford, who play in the seventh-tier Northern Premier League, a fee of around £40,000. The young defender meanwhile will sign a a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Gunners.
