Arsenal set to sign Jakub Kiwior after Trossard transfer

Premier League leaders Arsenal signed Belgium forward Leandro Trossard from Brighton on Friday in a deal worth a reported £27 million. Trossard agreed a "long-term" contract as Arsenal bolstered their attacking options in their bid to win the title for the first time since 2004. The 28-year-old could make his debut for Mikel Arteta's side, who are five points clear at the top, in Sunday's crucial encounter against Manchester United.

Furthermore, the English side are close to signing a new player. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jakub Kiwior, who currently plays for Spezia, is the next footballer Arsenal will sign.

The Poland international, who played at the World Cup in Qatar, will join Arteta's team for a fee of 25 million euros.

The 22-year-old is in the spotlight due to his performances and several clubs were targeting him. In addition, Juventus were keeping an eye on the defender but he will eventually play for the Premier League team.
