The North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday saw a record attendance for a Premier League game with 47,367 spectators.
The previous record was 38,262 who went to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2019 for the same fixture.
This record is the WSL record while the record for an international game is 87,192. That was when England beat Germany 2-1 in the Euro 2022 final at Wembley.
Arsenal, who have started with two wins, eight goals and none conceded, thrashed Tottenham 4-0. Beth Mead (5th minute), Dutch player Vivianne Miedema (44th and 69th minutes) and Brazil's Rafaelle (54th minute) got the goals.
Last season, the overall record attendance was set at the Camp Nou for a Champions League semi-final first leg between Barcelona and Wolfsburg. 91,648 people turned out for that one.
