Arsenal know they need to get the three points to stay in contention for the Premier League title and so they came out guns blazing at the Emirates Stadium. Odegaard opened the scoring for the Gunners after several dangerous attacks from Arteta's side. Later the Norwegian doubled the lead and Gabriel Jesus put the icing on the cake by adding a third before the break.
The Emirates Stadium side took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to a great finish from the team captain. Xhaka received on the left flank and fed Odegaard on the edge of the box and the Norwegian beat Kepa with a thumping shot which hit the crossbar before entering into the net.
Thirteen minutes later, the Norwegian scored his brace with a goal almost identical to the first. Xhaka again received the ball on the left flank calmly and squared the ball to the penalty spot. Odegaard entered the area with no one marking him and easily beat Kepa with a low shot.
However, the Gunners showed no mercy and three minutes later Gabriel Jesus put the icing on the cake by adding a third. White crossed the ball and Chelsea's defence didn't manage to clear the ball and after several rebounds, the Brazilian beat Kepa with a close-range finish.
