Mikel Arteta likes Marquinhos. His pace, ability and youth in attack have attracted Arsenal's attention, but he will probably end up on loan in the winter, according to 'The Sun'.
The Gunners signed the 19-year-old Brazilian in July from Sao Paulo for a fee of around €3.5 million. Marquinhos signed a five-season contract until June 2027.
He has not yet been able to make his debut in the Premier League, but he has made his debut in the Europa League. He made his debut against FC Zurich and scored one of the goals in the victory of the London team (1-2).
Arsenal legends such as Martin Keown have compared him to Serge Gnabry, who left the Emirates Stadium in his early days. A loan move was ruled out in the summer, but the option will be considered again in January.
