Arsenal agree to loan Chambers to Fulham

Calum Chambers, 23, is expected to have a medical at Fulham on Monday after Arsenal agreed to a season-long loan deal.

Fulham manager Slaviša Jokanović is lacking in experienced defenders and Chambers could provide assurance at the back, while new £20m signing Alfie Mawson is sidelined until September with a knee injury.

The Arsenal defender signed a new four-year contract with the 'Gunners' in July, though would gain Premier League experience at Craven Cottage.

The 'Cottagers' also reportedly made a bid to sign Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, who now looks set to join Everton.
