Almirón already said that the squad wasn't complete. It still lacked a couple of signings and one of them has already arrived at the Martínez Valero.
Elche announced the signing of Antonio Barragán. The player, 33, has extensive experience after having played for teams such as Deportivo, Liverpool, Valencia, Valladolid, Middlesbrough, and Betis, the club that he played the last three seasons at.
Barragán, who last season only played 14 matches, becomes the ninth signing of Elche and the second right-back after Miguel Ángel Garrido Cifuentes ‘Cifu’.
The Galician defender will join training on Tuesday.
