Ansu Fati out of Under 17s but available for Under 21s

The manager David Gordo has named his Spain Under 17s squad for the next 2 fridly matches, but Ansu Fati, who is currently injured, will be available for Luis de la Fuente's u21s.

However, he is not in the squad for another reason: Barcelona asked for him not to play in the Under 17 Wolrd Cup. According to 'AS', Barcelona made a deal with the Federation.

This has got to do with the player's progression. Barca don't think the u17s are the right level for Fati as he regularly plays for Barca.

He is now Spanish, and because he will not be playing in the Under 17 World Cup, Barcelona will have him available for the game against Madrid on 26th October.

Whatever happens, the striker will be considered for the U21s, who's squad will be named on Friday. Although he is in Roberto Moreno's plans, he is predicted to play for the current u21 Wolrd Champions.

Spain u17s will play Chile on 11th October (17:00) and England three days later (12:00) in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia) in warm-up matches before the World Cup. They will be in group F with Argentina (28th), Tajikstan (31th) and Cameroon (3rd November).
