Anfield has 10 warriors that are invincible

Few teams have been as trustworthy as Liverpool in the last few years. Some would even dare to see any. The mark of Jurgen Klopp's men becomes even greater when we talk about the Premier League and the matches played at Anfield.

73 points out of a possible 75 in the Premier League, scoring 60 goals and conceding 15. More than 1000 days without losing in the Premier League. A feat that makes some of these players already considered as invincible in Liverpool.

Thanks to ProFootballDB, BeSoccer's stat lab, we have been able to have a look at the stats of the 10 Liverpool players that have never lost in the league at Anfield. It is now a sacred territory for all of them.

Adrián, signed last summer, has now gone 6 matches unbeaten at home in the league despite having a secondary role behind Alisson, who has made his mark since 2018. The Brazilian goalkeeper hasn't lost in 28 home league matches and has provided more security in the defence since his arrival.

Others that have spent little time, such as Shaqiri and Keita, have gone 15 and 16 matches unbeaten respectively. In front of them, we have Oxlade-Chamberlian, adapted to a central zone by Klopp. The Englishman has gone 24 Premier League matches without losing at Anfield.

Virgil van Dijk was the signing that increased the defensive level at Liverpool. The Dutchman has more than proved his worth, and the fruit of this is the 39 matches in which the team has not lost at home when he has played.

In 3rd place we have a player who advances by leaps and bounds, improving season after season. Andrew Robertson, signed from a Hull City that was relegated in 2017, is now essential for Liverpool. The full-back hasn't lost in 44 matches.

The Prince of Egypt is also the Prince of Anfield. Mohamed Salah, a member of Klopp's undisputed trident, has already gone 50 consecutive Premier League home matches without losing with the current European champions. He signed in August 2017...

Sadio Mané is top. The Senegalese has polished his defects to become a complete winger. He arrived at the club in September 2016 and still hasn't lost a Premier League home match: he has gone 59 undefeated.

If the English league is already more than decided, these figures do not help the most optimistic person who wants to see another team lifting the title at the end of the season. It remains to be seen how far all of them will be able to extend their respective records.
