Tottenham wants to have everything under control for next season. That is why if Harry Kane leaves the club, the North Londoners are thinking about the Portuguese striker as his replacement.

Despite Kane's transfer rumors are fading away as the season starts, Tottenham does not trust top European clubs to not try and sign the England international.

This is the reason why Spurs' board are working with Kane's departure as a possible scenario and have already identified his replacement if he ends up leaving.

According to 'Football London', the Portuguese striker Andre Silva is on the shortlist to become Kane's replacement at Spurs.

Currently, at RB Leipzig, the Portuguese was one of the stars of the last Bundesliga season, scoring 28 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt.

As of now, Silva's start to the season hasn't been the best as he has just scored once in seven games for his new team.
