An unstoppable shot by Pereira to put the 'Foxes' ahead

It was the 16th minute when Leicester, finally found the back of the need. The team had been the most likely to score after searching for a goal right from the start.

It seemed like just an ordinary goal, but it wasn't. It seemed like it would be a shot that would definitely fail, but it was not. Ricardo Pereira drove the ball from the right side, to the centre of the net.

He was getting closer and closer to the front of the area, but he was also starting to lose space. Newcastle were retreating well and the Portuguese man tried his luck.

He had a shot with his left foot, which slotted into the back of the net and was unstoppable for Dubravka. It was raining in Leicester and the King Power grass did the rest. The ball picked up speed and the right thread to sneak into the bottom of Newcastle's net, making Dubravka's effort useless.

And as misfortunes never come alone, on the edge of the break one Newcastle player received a direct red card, which was more than deserved, the result of a two-footed, high challenge made by Hayden on Praet, and that left the 'Magpies' a man down.
