The Us hosted a session for young amputees to get in touch with 'the beautiful game.'
The rules are simple: Outfield players can only play with one leg, and goalkeepers can only use one arm.
Amputee football, however, is no new phenomenon. It's actually played on an international stage, with Russia the reigning champions of the World Cup.
According to the England Amputee Football Association's website, their main objective is: "To provide all amputees, people with congenital limb deficiencies and persons with restricted use of limbs, with the opportunity to play football locally, nationally and internationally."
Football is now more accessible than ever and popularity of the sport is certainly on the rise and football. Cambridge United will be hoping they can nurture the next generation of amputee football stars.
