Pogba admitted earlier this week that he wasn't sure where he would be playing his football next season following a disappointing campaign that saw him flit in and out of the United side.
Now, 'Tuttosport' reports that Juve are looking to pounce on that uncertainty to bring the French international back to his former stomping ground.
The 25-year-old became a fan favourite during his time in Turin, spending four years with the club before rejoining United for £89m in 2016.
With Pogba and United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly not seeing eye-to-eye and with the France international having played his best football under Allegri, a move would certainly tick a lot of boxes for the star.
However, with United likely to play hard ball over a fee, the same report suggests that Juve are considering Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as an alternative target, with the Serbian also reported to be on United's radar.
