The Cadiz midfielder Alex Fernandez has declared this Wednesday that Saturday's match against Real Madrid will be "very special" and that both he and his brother, the Madridista Nacho, have been "waiting for it for a long time".
Fernández said at a press conference that the match is "important" for his family and that he will "live" it with "intensity".
The Cadiz midfielder considered that it was necessary to score some goals in the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium because it is "very difficult" for Madrid not to score due to the "quality" of its players, he said, talk about "going out to win" and have not "thought about getting a draw".
In spite of the fact that the leader and current champion of the league is facing a recently promoted team, Álex Fernández indicated that Cadiz has "many" possibilities of scoring in Madrid because of its "way of playing", recognizing that Zinedine Zidane's team is a "great" team and that the match will be "complicated".
"Madrid has some of the best players in the world", warned Fernández, who considered that if the opponent is "one hundred percent concentrated", it will be "difficult" to get anything positive out of this visit and highlighted the "good" defensive work of the Madrid club and their "determination" in attack.
The player said it was a shame that the game couldn't be played in Real Madrid's usual stadium where he rose up through the youth teams.
