Lionel Messi may not be the only Argentina player to consider international retirement after their Copa America final loss, according to Sergio Aguero.
Argentina lost 4-2 to Chile on a penalty shootout after drawing 0-0 in 90 minutes and extra time. After the match, Messi told the media that "the national team is over for me".
Aguero, who has also suffered consecutive Copa America defeats and lost the 2014 World Cup Final to Germany has claimed that Messi is not the only player to consider retirement from international football.
"There are several players who are evaluating not continuing with the national team," the Man City player told reporters. "This is the worst dressing-room I've ever been in, worse than the final in the World Cup in Brazil and the other Copa America."
Javier Mascherano, Lucas Biglia, Ever Banega, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Angel Di Maria have all been reported to be considering their international futures.
