Atletico Madrid's Saturday morning training session could be Renan Lodi's last. The Brazilian footballer is not in Diego Simeone's plans, at least, as a starter. Therefore, his aim is to look for a club which will guarantee him game time as the World Cup is just around the corner.
As 'Relevo' reports, Atletico and Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement for the player. Subject to official confirmation, the deal will be completed with a loan deal for five million euros and an option to buy for 30.
One door closes and another opens at Atletico. If the Brazilian ends up leaving the squad, the left-back position will have to be strengthed. According to Fabrizio Romano, the man chosen is Reguilon.
The terms of the deal are once again the same. A loan deal until the end of the season, but without including a possible option to buy. The former Real Madrid and Sevilla man is reportedly happen to return to Spain, at least for the time being.
