Adama Traore and a redebut more than eight years later

Adama Traore was the new addition to Barca's starting eleven to face Atletico Madrid this Sunday at the Camp Nou. The player from Hospitalet de Llobregat made his debut as a Barcelona player in his second spell at the club.

The winger went straight into the Barcelona starting eleven, something he had not done in La Liga in his first spell as a Catalan player. It is therefore the first time he has started in the competition.

Adama's first debut in a Barcelona shirt, and indeed the only game he has played in La Liga, came on 23rd November 2013, when he played the last seven minutes of a match against Granada.

Adama had played a total of five official matches as a Barca player. Only in one, in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey against Elche, did he start.

Another winter signing, Ferran Torres, also started at the front of the attack. Ousmane Dembele, on the other hand, will wait for his chance on the bench.
