AC Milan willing to sign defender Japhet Tanganga

AC Milan suffered the absence of Alessio Romagnoli in this transfer window. The captain decided not to renew his contract at the 'Rossoneri' and the board are forced to look for a new defender for next season.

Without going any further, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the candidate to take that place is none other than Japhet Tanganga, a 23 year-old English defender who does not have a place in the Tottenham team. 

Milan will try and sign him on loan with an option to buy and they are confident Spurs are going to accept the proposal, bearing in mind that the defender is not a priority for Antonio Conte in the squad 

In that sense, everything seems to indicate that Tanganga could become a new signing for the reigning Serie A champions. They are looking for players to bolster the team ahead of the Champions League starting again. 

Until that moment, AC Milan's only reinforcement this summer is Divock Origi, who came from Liverpool on a free. It remains to be seen whether the board can make more signings in the coming weeks.
