The clash of ex-European giants returns for part two, a week after a dull 1-1 draw at Old Trafford and 11 years after these sides met in the last 16 of the Champions League. Over a decade later, the two sides meet in the Europa League, in what will be a season-defining game as both seem to have fallen too far behind their respective leagues' leaders for them to have a serious chance of winning the league title.
Last week saw 18 year-old Amad Diallo score his first goal for Manchester United since joining in January. However, just when the Red Devils thought they'd gotten away with another scrappy performance, Simon Kjaer rescued a draw for the visitors with a header from a corner in the 92nd minute.
Milan will be extra confident, going into the second leg with an away goal and three key players returning from injury who were missing last week: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Theo Hernandez. As for United, Paul Pogba and David De Gea are back in the squad.
