AC Milan announce that Bennacer has COVID-19

AC Milan announced in an official statement that that Ismael Bennacer has tested positive for COVID-19, reason for which he has not been called up for the friendly match against Nice. 

The 23 year-old Algerian midfielder, the Italian club said on social media, that he has not had contact with the rest of the team since the friendly on Saturday against Modena.

Apparently, Bennacer tested positive for coronavirus in a test take at home this week. The footballer is now self-isolating at home where he is now training normally as he feels well. 

With regards to the rest of the team, all the PCR tests have come back negative including those ahead of the friendly against Nice.
