The days of August continue to go by and some players find themselves out in the wilderness. The end of this summer's transfer window is getting closer and closer and David Luiz is yet to find a destination that meets his requirements.
"It will be the same as before, a club with ambition. The offers so far, they did not touch my heart... I want pressure, to be fighting for titles," the Brazilian assured in an interview with the 'Daily Mail'.
For now, the defender has reportedly only received offers from the MLS and Saudi Arabia, while his idea is to join a team of a slightly higher level, preferably in England: "I want to stay at a high level... Maybe that will be in the Premier League."
With Mikel Arteta, the defender knows his journey as a Gunner has already come to an end, after enjoying progressively less game time last campaign. According to Spanish daily 'AS', Real Madrid could be keeping tabs on the Brazilian. Soon we will know where the ex-Chelsea, PSG and Benfica man will end up.
