A fan injures himself in the most ridiculous fashion!

Charlton beat Sunderland in the match which determined who got promoted to the Championship, but in the build up, there was an incident which has gone viral on social media. 

One of the fans who was enjoying the build-up decided to take off his shirt and throw himself head first into the Trafalgar Square fountain.

He did not realise how shallow it was or how seriously he had injured himself until other fans told him he was bleeding from his forehead. 

Then, the fan quickly got out of the water and he was taken to the nearest hospital to get treatment on the wound.
