West Ham's problems in defence are clear. The English side have got just 8 points from 7 matches, and a large part of the blame is down to the mediocre level that the defensive line has offered until now.
For that reason, the Premier League side want to secure the services of the Danish CB Frederik Alves Ibsen, according to the 'Daily Mail' on Wednesday.
The CB, at just 21, currently plays for Silkeborg in the Danish Second Division and would be a serious option for the present and future from the London side.
The defender has played 21 matches this season for his club and could arrive in England in the January transfer window.
