FT: Juventus 0-3 Real Madrid. Wow. A record-breaking brace from Cristiano Ronaldo and a solitary Marcelo strike give Real Madrid a comfortable victory here. Things couldn't have gone much worse for Juventus, who also had Paulo Dybala sent off for two bookable offences. It could even have been more for Real, who hit the bar twice and saw Ronaldo fluff a glorious late chance for a hat-trick.

The omens are good for Real ahead of this one:
  • PRVW
Real Madrid haven't lost a Champions League knockout game in over 1,000 days, though Juve were the last side to make them taste defeat back in 2015.
  • PRVW
Real Madrid have fielded exactly the same team as they did in last year's final, whilst Douglas Costa, Mattia De Sciglio, Rodrigo Bentacur and Kwadwo Asamoah have come in for Leonardo Bonucci, Dani Alves (both left the club), Mario Mandzukic (on the bench) and Miralem Pjanic (suspended).
  • PRVW
Ronaldo is likely to be key in this tie:

Max Allegri believes Juve have learnt from their defeat in Cardiff: "The Cardiff match was a very important lesson to grow and improve. We could have managed the ball better in the second half and we have to be faster and deal with it in a more serene way. From this point of view, a psychological point of view, the team has certainly made very much progress. Real Madrid players are always very concentrated and exploit the weaknesses and they stay very relaxed in these types of matches."

    Warm-ups are underway here:

Here's how the hosts arrived a little earlier:
  • PRVW
A somewhat rogue-looking team from the Italian champions but there is certainly plenty of firepower in there with Douglas Costa, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala all starting.
  • PRVW
Buffon; De Sciglio, Barzagli, Chiellini, Asamoah; Khedira, Bentancur; Douglas Costa, Dybala, Alex Sandro; Higuain. Subs: Szczesny, Rugani, Lichtsteiner, Matuidi, Marchisio, Cuadrado, Mandzukic
  • PRVW
No real surprises from the visitors then as they field exactly the same team as on that fateful night in Cardiff.
  • PRVW
Real Madrid: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Isco; Ronaldo, Benzema. Subs: Casilla, Vallejo, Bale, Theo, Lucas V., Asensio, Kovacic.
